Purpose:
The awards $15,000 to California college sophomores or juniors to fund student-generated public service projects.
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, a student must:
- be currently enrolled at Oxy as a sophomore or junior
- have a GPA in the upper 1/3 of their class
- have the desire to "make a difference" in local, regional, national or international communities
Oxy Application Process:
New this cycle - Strauss has revamped their process so that an unlimited amount of students can apply directly to them (instead of being nominated聽by Oxy).听Oxy applicants can now apply directly for the Strauss Scholarship through their online application portal.
